CIOs debate key technology issues at eyefortransport’s 12th Logistics CIO Forum

Chief information officers and vice presidents from Conway Freight, UPS, Greatwide, Pitt Ohio Express, CRST International, PLS Logistics and the Forward Logistics Group have all confirmed to speak at eyefortransport's 12th Logistics CIO Forum, which takes place in Chicago on April 8th - 9th, 2010.

The speakers will address an audience of 150 senior level IT executives from leading transportation and logistics firms at the only event that contextualises key CIO issues for the transportation industry.

Key themes to be discussed at this year's Forum include: 'The Cloud' and Virtualisation - with contextualisation for the transportation industry - from Jackie Barretta (CIO, Conway Freight), recognised by CIO magazine for her work on virtualisation and placed in the Top 100 CIOs.

Other presentations include the importance of data analytics; business alignment; how to ensure an effective IT strategy that is aligned with your business goals; streamlining systems for end-to-end visibility in the supply chain; outsourcing of IT operations, and cutting costs from a CIO perspective.

CIOs and senior IT executives from leading transportation and logistics providers are invited to apply for complimentary passes to the Forum, which include meals and accommodation. Details are available on the event website.
